I have learned that love does not rush to be seen.

It waits.

It listens.

It stays when leaving would be easier.

Love does not demand proof or keep a record of what it gives.

It bends toward kindness, even when misunderstood, even when unseen.

I love now not to be chosen, but because I already am—chosen by God, taught by Him how to remain gentle in a world that often rewards hardness.

This is how I show up: patient, kind, faithful in small moments—loving not for applause, but because love is obedience when it is rooted in Him.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13

Lord, teach us to love as You love—patiently, gently, and without condition. Guard our hearts from pride or expectation, and help our love reflect Your grace rather than our emotions. Let our actions speak Your love clearly, even when our efforts go unnoticed.
