Worldly Soul by Trisha Rapley...

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

I could spend day after day with my feet buried in the soil of the land, in the sand on the beach, in the crystal clear water of a river, and in the icy cold snow on the mountains.

I live for the sun, the moon, the wind in my hair, being under the sky when it rains, and the way breathing the fresh air feels in my lungs.

There is nothing that comes close to the way being in the natural wonders this world has to offer, feels.

I am automatically recharged, rebirthed, rejuvenated, and there will always be a desire to be there every chance I get. I'm not sure if there's any other perfect moment for me than forgetting everything that's going on in my life and just being in the moments being in nature brings.

At times I find my soul calling out for the energy I get being at the beach, hiking into the wilderness of mountain terrain, on the open roads with nothing but the landscape on either side, on a farm filled with open land and animals, or just sitting by a river watching the water flow over the rocks.

I've driven miles just to sit on a beach to watch the waves crash not just because it is where I go to pray but because a part of me feels like I belong there.
