It never leaves your heart, you know, the missing of someone once they leave this world and head home to God.

It lies within the very fibre of your heart, reminding us all of a time when love was and still is the most important thing in life.

I prayed to have the Strength, Grace, and Faith you had throughout your life today as I sat by your graveside.

I prayed for the Godly ways your faith always brought help, compassion, and peace to everyone’s lives you touch.

I prayed to be more like you than myself. I thanked God for giving me, and you and I thanked you for bringing me closer to Him.

You were a woman of Grace, Dignity, and Love, and you are missed not just on your sixth anniversary but more because Christmas was your favourite time of year, and I miss you being here to celebrate it.

It’s never been the same since you left.
