And the hardest thing we’ll ever have to do in our lives is continue without the people we love.
Whether they leave unexpectedly or all of a sudden, the pain is the same, and let me say time has no value because love is love.
It might have been ten years, five months, or two minutes when a connection is there, the loss is felt regardless.
Grief is never measured by the time we have with that person, but rather the memories that were created and sometimes simply just how they made you feel.
I honestly can’t remember a worse time than losing someone I love, but I do know that with every loss, there’s a chance to remember and heal while accepting that this could be a chance to learn something new about yourself.
Whether that be a newfound strength, a new tolerance, a new vision, a new passion, a newfound energy, it’ll all be worth it in the end.
The pain of their absence should always teach us to value every important connection, not prevent us from making more.
Please know you’re never alone through the struggle grief causes at times.
At some point, we’ve all been in that place, and I’m ok to hold your hand through it if you’ll let me.
