I've been fighting; each time hope has tried to escape my heart about you and me.
Clinging to it as if it is all I have left of you and then I remember the way it felt to kiss you.
And then my hope is rekindled, strong and brave knowing I will stay wrapped up with the hope and love I have in my heart for us.
I pray it's the same for you too. I pray it is my smile you see just before you close your eyes every night.
