We never walk through the fire that burns inside our hearts alone.
There's a forever presence that never leaves even in our darkest moments we struggle to overcome.
They stay, wait with patience, and pray with love that we don't forget the place we truly belong.
They are our shelter, our comforter, our reassurance, our peace, our everything, our church and altar, and the love we prayed for.
A gift from Jesus Christ himself.
And although at times it feels they have left, they really haven't because their spirit is with us, always.
That's how this all works - love, I mean. No matter who the love is between time and space is irrelevant so long as the spirit is strong in them.
Just as it is in Jesus and His love for us. Love is what you feel when the presence is no longer but the heart knows they are near despite what we see.
It's important to fix our eyes on the truth which will always be found in the Word and what was sacrificed for love in the end.
The truth is some things can't be explained or even understood you can only trust that God has the best of intentions for all that has happened, good and bad, and in no way doubt it all happened for a reason in the end.
Love finds you in the worst of times, in the times you can't stand, in the moments all you can do is cry between breaths, love never finds you when everything is perfect.
It's in those tough times you'll realise just how much you're willing to sacrifice to have it and keep it. Real love challenges you, it empowers you but also calls you out to rise up instead of checking out, it humbles you but seeks to be tested, it's an all-in because the other option is all out, and it has no regret only understanding that we all can be foolish when in love.
God allows us to grow together and to learn what it is to love without conditions, judgment, selfishness, or shame. He teaches us that through all things love finds a way.
Love teaches us that not all things need to make sense so long as your heart is with Jesus and it's of a kind and honest nature the love you seek will be given to you.
Jesus takes care of those who are faithful and who remain in Him through everything.
He has been good to us, even in the madness of it all.
God is good......
The Gift.
