You really have to appreciate the souls who come into your life by chance, not by force, but rather by the Grace of God.
I mean the ones who teach you how to love yourself better and the ones who teach us how incredibly rare you are.
And it’s been a journey of epic proportions, sometimes with tears and other times with a smile that hurts your cheeks.
And for the most part, I have lived not survived through it all, even with the heartbreak that comes as each one leaves.
And more than anything, I have looked for love both inside everyone I’ve met but also inside myself and what I found was love disguised as grief, anger, sadness, but most of all, I found love in the places God resided inside them all.
And that’s what I’ll take from this pillar in my life right now, that in each of us is a place God resides, whether we have faith or believe in Him.
My focus on each person was God, and what value I could add to the brokenness people were dealing with when they met me.
I enjoy happiness, but I’ll always be known to people I meet as the woman who sat with the broken and lost. Not for gain but for purpose because it’s what Jesus did.
I pray to be more like Him every day so that my life is full and of a purpose that is carried through the hearts I love and support in a time of need.
