Royalty 1 Peter 2:9 - Personal Blog of Trisha Rapley, Australian Author.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1 Peter 2:9

Royalty 1 Peter 2:9 - Personal Blog of Trisha Rapley, Australian Author.

I carry royalty quietly.

Not in how I am seen, but in how I remain.

My crown was formed in hidden places, in waiting, in obedience, in choosing faith when no one applauded.

I do not strive to prove who I am. I know who placed this identity within me.

My strength is gentle.

My authority rests in God.

I was not crowned to be admired, but to be entrusted.

And nothing can remove what God has placed upon my life.

Purple speaks of royalty that kneels. Authority that does not dominate, but carries responsibility with tenderness. It tells the story of a King crowned in humility, whose power is love, whose throne is eternal. Prayer: Teach me to carry authority with humility and grace.

Lord,

Thank you for reminding me who I am in you.

Teach me to carry what you have entrusted to me with humility, grace, and obedience.

Guard my heart from striving and comparison.

When I feel unseen, remind me that you see me fully.

Let my strength remain gentle, my confidence rooted in truth, and my life aligned with your will.

Help me honour the crown you have placed upon me, not through perfection, but through faithfulness.

Amen.
