She has always carried a softness
for the ones the world turned away from—
the ones whose pasts were spoken
in hushed tones,
whose hearts were bruised
long before anyone bothered
to ask why they hurt that way.
She knew their shadows
did not define their light.
She knew their stories
did not end where others
chose to stop reading.
And so she stood beside them,
not as a saviour
but as a witness—
someone unafraid
to see every scar,
every regret,
every trembling truth
They tried so hard to hide.
She protected them
not because they were perfect,
but because they were human—
because broken pieces
still belong to something whole,
and bruised hearts
still deserve to be held.
She wrapped her loyalty around them
like a shield,
soft enough to comfort,
strong enough to defend,
whispering,
“Your past does not disqualify you
from being loved today.”
And in her presence,
something sacred happened—
those forgotten souls
began to lift their heads,
began to believe
they were worthy of gentleness,
worthy of forgiveness,
worthy of being chosen
by someone who saw them fully
and did not flinch.
She loved the ones
no one else slowed down enough to notice,
the ones who learned to live quietly
because the world had never
listened to their voices.
But she did.
And in being heard,
They healed.
In being protected,
They grew.
And in being loved,
They finally understood
that they had never been forgotten—
only waiting
for someone brave enough
to recognise their worth.
Amen...
