The Hugger by Trisha Rapley...

Updated: Oct 9, 2023

I am a "hugger"... The overwhelming feeling that comes from the closeness you get while being held by the one you love is extraordinary...

At that moment nothing else matters and everything you are feeling before that moment seems to just vanish...

I am a very emotional, touchy-feely, passionate, sensual woman... I use my touch to love, heal and comfort everyone and everything...

I have learned how to use touch to calm the nervous system of a person who suffers serve anxiety and nervous system disorders...

Whether it be through holding hands, the soft, slow, and gentle touching of my hand against their arms, or a constant holding of their back...

You would be amazed at what touch can do to a human being in need. Sometimes I have to remind myself of people's personal space and not everyone likes to be touched...

There are multiple levels to my personality...

The mother in me just loves giving kisses and hugs but at times you'll find me holding their hands, playing with their hair, or just holding them back on their heads...

The friend in me needs to hug it can be when we see each other or just a random hug when we stand close. I find myself standing on top of my people. Not next to them but against them. Personal spaces are again nonexistent...

The lover in me is over the top... I will always have my hands on you. Driving, walking, standing, sitting, swimming, and even sleeping. It doesn't matter what we are doing or where we are I need to touch you. Kissing well I will have to pry from you sometimes. I will kiss you a hundred times all over your face before you even get a chance to breathe (I can be super cute like that!...)

I'm not sure if being brought up in a world where love and affection weren't given has shaped me into the woman I am or not. The truth is I was raised by a mother who didn't know how to be affectionate and who never told us we were loved.

I really believe it can go either way with children as they grow into adults. There are so many factors to how an adult is formed and the way a child is loved is a massive one.

Although I didn't know the love I knew how to love. I find passion in everything I give and do. Loving never seemed to be a problem for me it just naturally occurs.

"I think that the best thing you can ever do in life is give love, be love, and act in a way that the person receiving your love feels loved..."

"If we ever cross paths and you're having a bad day know that you can run towards me and hug me until you feel better!"
